完璧な卵料理を求めて。

朝6時。
一人の男性は起きて早々にコック帽をかぶるとキッチンへ向かいます。
フライパンにバターが溶ける様子、卵を割り、焼けたものが皿の上へ。
そこに塩胡椒をかけると「The Perfect Egg. 」に…ならない。
小さな男の子が首を振るということは、これは美味しくないということ。
その日から毎日完璧を求め、卵料理を作り続ける日々。オムレツに、ゆで卵に目玉焼き。
試行錯誤を重ねても、なかなか「美味しい」とは言ってもらえません。

そんなある日。
男性の子どもが朝早く起きて料理をすることに。
出来上がったのは綺麗で美味しそうな目玉焼き。
男性はなんの躊躇（ためら）いもなく口に運ぶのですが、顔がどんどん曇っていきます。

なぜ卵料理がまずいのか。
その答えは最後まで見ればわかるはず。
